This and That

These paintings either are examples from different series.  The yoga paintings came out of the joy I felt when doing yoga.  My teacher did not have mirrors in her studio, hence, my imaginings.  When my father was in the hospital, a homeless woman suffering from dementia was in the room next to him.  She spoke a lot to me, and, one thing she said repeatedly (with great insight, I thought) was “They make you crazy, don’t they?”  Another theme that creeps into my work is the human condition of separating from the people and things you love (or don’t).  Thus, some of the other pieces.
